Technological processes of drilling and extraction

Key technical solutions:
  • The deposit is planned to be opened up using two vertical shafts – a cage shaft and a skip shaft
  • To prevent groundwater from entering during the drilling of vertical mine shafts, artificial ground freezing technology will be used (freezing depth – 765 m)
  • Ore deposits are mined using a chamber mining system. The mined space is filled with cast consolidated stowing

Technology: Combined processing method for polymineral and polyhalite ores

The combination of two methods — flotation and halurgy — allows for an increase in the extraction of potash minerals to 90–92% (compared to 60–65%) and the production of SOP with a purity of 95–96%
Flotation — obtaining potassium-magnesium concentrate by selective separation, dewatering and drying of potassium-containing minerals
Halurgy — ore processing based on the different solubility of minerals and subsequent crystallisation of products
