Project overview
Investments in food security
The Nivenskoe potassium-magnesium salt deposit was discovered by Soviet geologists in the 1950s. In the 1970s–1980s, exploration drilling and resource assessment were conducted. In 2012–2014, following additional exploration and appraisal activities, the permanent reserves of the deposit were confirmed

Halite

Polyhalite

Kieserite

Carnallite

Kainite
Confirmed reserves of the project in accordance with JORC exceed 1,250 million tonnes
The project company has licenses for two sites: Nivensky-1 (KLG 02482 TR) with an area of 33.5 km2 and Nivensky-2 (KLG 02338 TR) with an area of 68.6 km2
The deposit is ready for industrial development. The resource base provides for the production of 1.5 million tonnes/year of SOP. The combined processing method for polymineral and polyhalite ores allows for the production of high-purity products at a uniquely low cost
To date, the entire cycle of exploration and design work has been completed, the Glavgosexpertiza conclusion has been obtained, part of the equipment has been purchased, and the project is ready for drilling to begin
The deposit is located in the Kaliningrad Oblast, near the sea ports of the region and relatively close to port terminals of neighboring countries. This enables the organization of cost-effective and convenient logistics routes for product export
